InterHuman Solutions is a consulting company that helps people, teams, and workplaces thrive. We focus on developing effective leaders, strengthening team dynamics and trust, improving communication and accountability, increasing employee engagement and retention, and helping teams work better together to achieve meaningful results. Founded in 2020 by Melissa Segal, InterHuman Solutions partners with nonprofits, healthcare systems, academic institutions, and other businesses to truly transform your work culture.

What are restorative practices and restorative circles, and how do they help?

Restorative Practices is a values-based framework based on indigenous traditions that views people as interconnected, part of a community, and responsible to one another. Using these practices, we provide both:

  • Proactive processes that strengthen relationships, teamwork, and mutual accountability.
  • Responsive, non-punitive processes to repair workplace harm and conflict, explore individual and communal needs and obligations, and restore relationships.

A Restorative Circle is a structured process that provides space for participants to share their thoughts and stories and to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s values, experiences, and choices. We use circles for both proactive and responsive restorative processes.
